DeepTech covers artificial intelligence, robotics, quantum computing, emerging research and science-based innovation. These editorial standards describe how we aim to distinguish reported findings from established evidence, correct errors and handle potential commercial relationships.
Original writing and factual accuracy
Our editorial approach is to write original explanations and analysis rather than reproduce articles from other publications. We seek to verify dates, claims, reported measurements and important context against identifiable primary sources. When a claim comes from a company announcement, research institution or author, we attribute it accordingly and distinguish a reported result from independent verification.
Research, testing and limitations
A demonstration, benchmark or press release is not automatically evidence of general reliability. Articles should describe the tested conditions, known limitations and questions that remain unanswered when those details are relevant. Opinions and interpretation should be distinguishable from factual reporting.
Sources and links
References may link to scientific papers, official documentation, research institutions and other relevant sources. Such links are provided for verification and context; they do not imply sponsorship or endorsement. Material reproduced from third parties must respect copyright and applicable licences.
AI-assisted workflows and images
Digital writing, image and SEO tools may assist editorial production. Their outputs are not, by themselves, reliable evidence that a claim is correct or a source is genuine. Conceptual and AI-generated illustrations should be identified as such and should not be presented as photographs documenting specific experiments, products or people.
Corrections
If a reader identifies a factual error, outdated information, a broken reference or a problem with an image, they can send the article URL and relevant evidence through the contact page. Substantive corrections should be made transparently, with the article updated where appropriate.
Advertising, affiliates and editorial independence
If advertising, affiliate relationships or paid sponsorships are introduced, commercial material should be distinguishable from independent editorial content. Paid relationships must not determine whether scientific claims are described as independently verified. Any material sponsored article should be identified as advertising or sponsored content. External links are not, by themselves, paid endorsements.
Privacy and visitor data
The handling of personal data, cookies and advertising identifiers is a separate matter covered by the site’s privacy and consent documentation. No advertising service should be treated as exempt from applicable privacy and consent obligations. For enquiries, use the contact form.
These standards describe our editorial commitments, not a guarantee that every article or technical system is error-free.
